What do I need to become a Chuck hauler?

To become a Chuck hauler, you’ll need a suitable vehicle—something that can handle the jobs you choose. You’ll also need liability insurance, a smartphone, and the ability to haul various types of junk. Once you’ve got the essentials, you’re ready to start bidding on jobs.

How long does the verification process take?

The verification process is quick and easy. It usually takes about 24 to 48 hours once you’ve submitted all your documents. We’ll let you know as soon as you’re approved, and then you can set up your profile and start bidding on jobs right away.

How do I place bids on jobs?

Bidding on jobs is simple. Once you’re verified, you’ll receive notifications for jobs in your area. Just review the job details, decide if it fits your schedule, and place your bid with your chosen time and date for pickup. If the customer selects your bid, the job is yours.

How does payment work?

Chuck uses Stripe Connect to handle payments. Once the job is marked as complete by the customer, the payment is processed and sent directly to your bank account. Most payments are quick and hassle-free, so you don’t have to wait around for your money.

What types of junk will I be hauling?

You’ll haul a variety of items, from old furniture and appliances to garden waste and general household junk. Chuck handles almost anything that can be lifted by two people and isn’t hazardous. You choose the jobs that fit your vehicle and capabilities.

Do I need any specific equipment or vehicle?

A suitable vehicle is essential—whether it’s a truck, van, or trailer, it should be able to handle the jobs you take on. Basic equipment like straps, tarps, and gloves are also recommended, along with tools for sweeping up afterwards to leave the area clean.
