Chuck covers the entire Auckland region. From Papakura to Silverdale, wherever your junk is, we’ve got you covered.

How do I prepare my junk for pickup?

Make sure your junk is easily accessible. For curbside pickups, place the items outside. For in-home pickups, clear a path so the hauler can work efficiently.

What types of junk can I get removed?

We handle just about anything, from old furniture to appliances, garden waste, and general rubbish. As long as it’s non-hazardous and can be lifted by two people, Chuck’s haulers can take care of it.

What items can’t be removed by Chuck?

Hazardous materials like chemicals, asbestos, and flammable liquids can’t be removed by Chuck. If you're unsure about an item, it’s best to ask your hauler directly.

Do I have to be home when the hauler arrives?

Not necessarily! For curbside pickups, you don’t need to be there. For in-home pickups, it's helpful to be there, but we can work around your schedule.

How do I choose between in-home or curbside pickup?

Choose kerbside if you want a contactless pickup. Pick in-home if you need help getting items out of your house.

How do I post a job on Chuck?

Snap a photo of your junk, fill out a quick form with details like what you need removed and where you’re located, and submit.

Can I edit or cancel my job after posting?

Yes, you can edit or cancel your job before a hauler is confirmed. After booking, contact the hauler directly to make changes.

What details do I need to include when posting?

We need a description of your junk, where it is, how much there is, and whether you want in-home or curbside pickup. Photos help with accurate quotes.

How do I pick the best hauler for the job?

Look at their ratings, reviews, and price. Choose the hauler with the best feedback and price that works for you.

What if I don't get any quotes?

It’s rare, but if no quotes come in, you can repost the job or adjust the details. Chuck will notify nearby haulers to ensure visibility.

Can I see reviews and ratings of haulers before choosing?

Yes, Chuck shows real reviews and ratings from other customers. You’ll know exactly who you’re working with before booking.

How do I get quotes from haulers?

Once you post your job, haulers in your area will send quotes. You can review their profiles, ratings, and prices to pick the best offer.

Payments and pricing

Can I pay in cash, or is everything done online?

Chuck handles everything online for your convenience. No need to deal with cash.

Will I be charged extra for same-day or next-day pickup?

Some haulers may offer faster service without extra charges, but it depends on availability. Details are visible when haulers bid.

How do I pay for the service?

Payment is easy—once the job is complete, we’ll automatically bill your card for the agreed-upon amount.

How much does junk removal cost with Chuck?

Prices vary depending on the size and type of junk, as well as the hauler. You’ll receive free quotes to compare.

Cancellations

How do I get a refund?

If you need to cancel your booking, we're here to help.

  • Cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled collection time, and you'll receive a full refund—no fees, no fuss.
  • Cancel less than 24 hours before the collection time, you'll get 80% back, with a minimum charge of $20 and a maximum charge of $100.

We charge this fee because our hauliers have already planned their routes and set aside time for your pickup, so late cancellations can impact their schedule and resources. This helps us ensure they're fairly compensated for their time and keeps our service running smoothly. We appreciate your understanding!

What if I need to reschedule my junk removal?

Please contact your hauler directly to agree on a new date.

How do I cancel a booking?

Cancel your booking before the hauler arrives by going to your job details and clicking 'Cancel' then follow the onscreen instructions.

Haulers

Will Chuck’s haulers clean up the area after removing my junk?

Most haulers will sweep up the area after the job. Ask your hauler for specific cleanup needs.

What happens if the hauler doesn’t show up?

If your hauler can’t make it, you’ll be notified. You can reschedule or choose another hauler from the bids.

How do I know the hauler will do a good job?

Every hauler is reviewed by real customers. Check their ratings and job history before booking.

Are Chuck’s haulers vetted?

Yes, all haulers go through a vetting process, providing identification, proof of address, and an NZBN.
